Quick Help
This Quick Help section will guide you through the online shutter design tool. For more comprehensive information you should read the Measuring Guides or call us on UK 0845 10 80 279 / ROI 1890 7488837.
Window Reference - Give each window a particular name or reference, eg Living Room LHS (left hand side). This will help you to identify which shutters are for which window when they are delivered.
Width & Height - Enter the width and height of the window opening. Always take the smallest measurement and do not make any allowances. We will do this when designing your shutters. If you intend choosing Cafe Style shutters indicate the shutter height only, not the window height.
Shutter Style - Having seen the various shutter style options available, select the one which best suits your needs.
Mid Rail / Tier-on-tier - Input the point where you wish to place a mid rail in your shutter panel. NOTE Always measure from the bottom up. If you have chosen tier-on-tier style, indicate the split point, again measuring from the bottom up. If you would like a full height shutter without any mid rail, simply leave the box blank or enter 0.
Panel Quantity / Folding Configuration - After deciding how many shutter panels you would like, simply click on the red + to add a panel or on the X to remove a panel, eg removing all panels from the right and leaving 2 panels on the left indicates you want 2 panels to fold to the left.
Louvre Size - Click on the louvre size you would like.
Frames - Click on the frame profile that best suits your window. We strongly recommend you order a free sample pack which contains our different types of frames.
Frame Sides - Indicate whether your frame will have 2, 3 or 4 sides.
Colour - Choose your colour. Again we recommend you choose from our sample pack rather than from the colours indicated on the web site.
Hinges - Choose the finish you would like on your hinges
Tilt Rod - Click to choose your method of opening and closing the louvres.
