To carry out shutter surveys and installations on an independent, self-employed basis. 

The Job Description

While Shutterplus is a supply-only shutter company, very often we receive requests from customers who like our product but would prefer to have someone carry out the surveying and installation for them. We are currently compiling a list of surveyors/installers throughout the UK & Ireland who will be in a position to carry out this work. 

The type of person we recommend to customers:

First and foremost is a person with experience in the area of surveying and installing interior plantation shutters. A thorough knowledge of the various types of frames, mounting positions, tolerances, pitfalls etc is mandatory. Attention to detail and tidiness on the job are also important elements in ensuring further referral work.

JOB TITLE: Operations Manager UK  

LOCATION: London

SALARY: Salary Negotiable

The Job Summarised

To manage the business operations of Shutterplus across the whole of the UK.

The main elements of the role are: 

1. Co-ordinate regular import shipments from point of entry to their final destination.

2. Manage, motivate and develop all staff entrusted into their care.

3. Communicate foster and encourage close associations with trade buyers, interior designers and associated businesses.

4. Regularly report to the management team on progress to achieving sales and financial budget targets.

5. Deliver a high-level of service to all customers and share with the management team the responsibility of maintaining excellent customer service levels. 

6. Actively maintain excellence in health and safety measures. 

7. Form part of the sales and marketing team when required.

The type of person we are looking for: 

First and foremost is the ability to be able to demonstrate an ability to work on ones own inititive, and  be capable of delivering high levels of customer satisfaction . Experience within the shutter sector is definitely an advantage but not absolutely essential.

The role will best be suited to a person who is self-confident, enthusiastic, friendly, positive, self-starting, competitive and independent thinking.
